Jaz is such an amazing stretch therapist as well and has helped me open up and stretch out my hip flexors as well as my shoulders. She's amazing at teaching you what you need to do as well as pushing you through your barriers when you have tight spots.
So glad to have found Performance Chiropractor and have been going there actively for the last year and will continue to stick with them for a long time.Angel Gomez - 5-Star Review - Google

Benefits of Stretching and of
Assisted-Stretching Therapy
As important as it is to build muscle and to achieve aerobic fitness, it simply isn't enough. Flexibility, fascial fitness and full joint mobility are also a must! Your STRETCH THERAPIST becomes instrumental in helping you through this.
-
1.
Increases Your Flexibility
Regular stretching can help increase your flexibility, which is crucial for your overall health. Not only can improved flexibility help you to perform everyday activities with relative ease, but it can also help delay the reduced mobility that can come with aging. With Assisted-Stretching your STRETCH THERAPIST can utilize a variety of techniques, such as PNF and Resistance Stretching, to further optimize those results!
-
2.
Increases Your Range of Motion
Being able to move a joint through its full range of motion gives you more freedom of movement and is important for joint health . Stretching on a regular basis can help increase your range of motion. One study found that both static and dynamic stretching are effective when it comes to increasing range of motion, although proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)-type stretching, such as is typically employed by your STRETCH THERAPIST, may be more effective for immediate and longer term gains.
-
3.
Improves Your Performance in Physical Activities
Performing dynamic stretches prior to physical activities has been shown to help prepare your muscles for the activity. It may also help improve your performance in an athletic event or exercise. Through routine assisted-stretching with over a period of months, you will better prepare your soft tissues such that when you do perform your own dynamic stretches, the results are better.
-
4.
Increases Blood Flow to You Muscles
Performing stretches on a regular basis may improve your circulation. Improved circulation increases blood flow to your muscles, which can shorten your recovery time and reduce muscle soreness (also known as delayed onset muscle soreness or DOMS).
-
5.
Improves Your Posture
Muscle imbalances are common and can lead to poor posture. Studies show that strengthening and stretching specific muscle groups can reduce musculoskeletal pain and encourage proper alignment, which in turn ,ay help improve your posture. Your STRETCH THERAPIST is familiar with these patters and will perform stretches accordingly.
-
6.
Helps to Heal and Prevent Back Pain
Tight muscles can lead to a decrease in your range of motion. When this happens, you increase the likelihood of straining the muscles in your back. Stretching can help heal an existing back injury by stretching the muscles. Your STRETCH THERAPIST can help you prevent future back pain by keeping soft tissues pliable and properly stretched.
-
7.
Great for Stress Relief
When stress is experienced there’s a good chance your muscles are tense. Your STRETCH THERAPIST will focus on areas of your body where you tend to hold your stress, such as your neck, shoulders, upper back, and hip flexors.
-
8.
Calms Your Mind
Participating in a regular stretching program not only helps increase your flexibility, but it can also calm your mind. By having a STRETCH THERAPIST it is even better since your therapist will be the one guiding you through the appropriate stretches, leaving you with less to have to think about!
-
9.
Helps Decrease Tension Headaches
Tension and stress headaches can interfere with your daily life. In addition to a proper diet, adequate hydration, proper spinal alignment, and plenty of rest, stretching may help reduce the tension you feel from headaches. Ensure that you communicate with your STRETCH THERAPIST regarding the location and frequency of your headaches.

You have to try Stretch Therapy at Performance Chiropractic! She is Amazing! I did my first session and I was hooked. I went from not being able to serve a volleyball overhand to killing it on the court. I can now serve overhand, jump to block, and even spike the ball, which I have not been able to do in 15 years! My shoulder locked from injury and even after 2 rounds of PT somewhere else, they told me I couldn’t be fixed. However, she was able to help me by stretching the pain away all over my body, and fixed my shoulder. I can stretch at home correctly to help myself thanks to her guidance too. You have to go to Performance Chiropractic and take your first Stretch Therapy session. You will see the difference. She will stretch you back to health like she did for my son and I.

Just about EVERYONE is! Of course, just like with anything related to health, there are contraindications. Some of these may include:
